PROGRAMME FOR THE TEACHING OF BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE AND CULTURE
MAKING LEARNING FUN
We propose two weekly courses lasting two-hours each:
- The first one for children aged 3 to 6.
- The second one for children aged 7 to 12.
In both courses, the children's creativity and curiosity are stimulated to make the learning process enjoyable. Language and culture are approached through games :
- Arts and Crafts
- drawing, cutting-out, modelling dough, collage
- coloured material ( paper, cardboard, fabric )
- Games and physical activities
- body motion: gymnastics, singing, dancing, nursery rhymes
- using the body and manipulating objects
- Conversation based on fun material
- story -telling, Brazilian legends, comics
- Brazilian cartoons are shown .
